This is a brief History of P.H.S Kumba. P.H.S Kumba was Created as Basel Mission College (B.M.C)  in January 1963, by the Basel Missionaries who also founded Basel Mission Church early before.The first batch was made up of 69 male students headed by Mr. Peter Walters a white, as the first appointed Principal. The Basel Mission College was the First and only Secondary School in the, Kumba Division, in the then West Cameroon, Federal Republic of Cameroon.
